North East Essex Diabetes Service
North East Essex Diabetes Services (NEEDS) is here to support all of those living with diabetes in the North East Essex area and are committed to providing high standards of care for ALL people with Diabetes. Working in partnership with NHS GPs, the consultant-led diabetes specialist team offers community clinics, antenatal diabetes care and diabetes foot care. They support and promote eye screening which is delivered by Health Intelligence. They also work closely with Therapy for You for emotional and psychological support. Their regular forums offer a chance to connect with other people living with diabetes and local diabetes health professionals. They provide diabetes education and information sessions for people with diabetes and NEE health professionals. Also, they actively participate in research relevant to diabetes.
